New Post at LAST! 3/17

It's been a LONGG time and I'm deeply sorry!

Well here is the agenda from our last meeting (today @ lunch).

1. Club Editor
1. There was a problem with membership, would anyone like to become it?
2. If not, I’ll have to take the position.
2. March DCM!
1. It’s Saturday the 27^th! (11-12 is a regular DCM, but it extends to 3pm)

3. LA MARATHON Cheering?
1. This Sunday from 8am-1pm
2. I know it’s last minute, but it’ll be fun!
3. They’ll provide snacks and drinks, but you should bring money.

4. Officer elects?
1. Old officers, don’t slack off because you’re still in those positions until April!
2. Start training your elect, train them well so they can do a great job next term.
3. Meeting: Sunday 2-3pm @ LACC.
5. Sweater Committee ( Meeting Sunday 3-4pm LACC)
6. Ronald McDonald House (with Kiwanis)

1. He’s running for a seat in the Greater Griffith Park Neighborhood Council (GGPNC), a local organization that aims to make our community a better place
2. Let’s help him and vote on Saturday 20, at the Hollywood Lutheran Church! (Anytime from 10am-4pm)
3. You just need to be 13 to vote for it, he is really a great candidate!
8. Pancake Day Breakfast May 8th
1. Sell them and we get half the profits back on the tickets we sell!
2. Only 5 more tickets for each person to sell!
3. They’re easy to sell so try and sell them as fast as you can!
4. I’ll give you the other five next week, so you’ll have time to sell them over spring break!

1. Red Cross is trying to raise a million dollars to help the Haitians in their time of need.
2. Whoever raises up to $20 will get an hour of service!

Future Events!

On the 16th, we'll be attending a sand beach clean-up with the organization called Heal The Bay. From 10am-12 @ Venice Beach.

Then on the 17th, we'll have a park clean-up, but late in the day, like at 2-3pm. But I'm unsure on which park to have it at yet.

Then on the 23rd, we can help out at the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. From anytime from 8:45am-12 noon. It's at 1734 East 41st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90058

AND TOMORROW WE'LL HAVE A DCON MEETING @ JOHN C. FREMONT LIBRARY!!

2. It’s a lot of responsibility, but very fun! Our LTG this year said he loved it! It also looks really great on college applications!! Just email me about it, deadline is Dec. 31st! J

1. Those who got cards last year and continued to be a member this year won’t get new cards, sorry.
2. Those of you who lost your ID card and didn’t get one this year due to membership, you can purchase another one for a nominal fee.
5. UCLA Key 3 College with Circle K.
1. It will be held on November 22, 2009, Sunday from 9-4 @ UCLA in the Humanities building.
2. For high school kids to get info on higher education, there will be lots of other clubs there.
3. No hours, it’s just an outreach thing, if you want to learn more about college why not go to college students themselves!
4. I strongly encourage you to be 5-10 dollars for lunch.
5. If you use parking, is $10
6. The only people I have written down going are Diandra and JR, everyone else needed to tell me personally that you were wanting to go.
