UPDATE FROM JULY 20TH MEETING!

Hey Key Clubbers so here's an update of what we talked about in today's meeting.

JULY
-The coin drive is now due at our next meeting!. So, keep collecting money!

-DCM is on July 25th! Call/text/email/aim Veronica to let her know if you're going by Wednesday before 2pm! (you can also tell me and I'll let veronica know)

-The PTP walk is on July 26th! We will be walking down wilshire from 9-11 am.

-BJs Fundraiser is on July 29th ALL DAY! its the one at glendale, to get the flyer go on the reflector which you all should be members of! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/D3Sharkeys/

AUGUST

-Set up for a Fund Drive with our Kiwanis Advisor for the USC mobile dental clinic on August 11th @ The Hollywood Lutheran Church on 1733 N New Hampshire at 12.

-Breakfast booth @ a new high school on Sunset and Venice for Hollywood Relay for life on August 23rd around 8 am.

-The next key club meeting will be on July 31st on hollywood and highland from 2-3 pm.

-COREBOARD OFFICERS! We will all have a meeting soon ask me or veronica for details.

Ok, so the stand is going to be postponed..

The PTP walk might be changed to be walking down Wilshire instead of Santa Monica.

The July DCM will be on Saturday the 25th @ Pacific Park from 2-5pm.

Also keep collecting money for the Change Drive for the Salvation Army & donations for PTP for the PTP walk on Sunday the 26th.

Hey Guys !

Just an update, you guys should be doing the Change Drive thing and the PTP walk form.

ALSO, there is the Lemonade stand for PTP this sunday at Runyon Park from 1-4.

CHANGE IN PLANS! : The Bj's Fundraiser for Key Club is on the 29th instead of the 22nd.

Last Meeting!

Hey Key Clubbers!!!

Missed the last meeting??

No problem, I'll try and catch you up on what you missed [:

Well first, we've started our Salvation Army Change Drive. For this you will just be collecting change and maybe some donations. All the money you've collected goes to a local Salvation Army. At the next meeting (the 20th), you'll be turning in all of it with the amount of money and your name.

Next, on Monday the 6th, we'll be having a beach clean-up at Santa Monica Beach from 2-4pm.

We'll meet up at the pier around 1:50.

After that, we'll have a lemonade stand for PTP on Sunday the 19th from 1-4pm.

It'll be at Runyon Canyon. (Note: PTP is a charity called Pediatric Trauma Prevention & the money raised from the lemonade stand will be given to PTP.)

The next meeting will be held on the 20th( a Monday) from 3-4 pm at In-N-Out by our school.

Please make it!

Also there is the Key Club DCM on Saturday the 25th.

The place and time is tba. But maria or me will keep you posted on this blog.

The most important thing is the PTP walk that we'll be having down Santa Monica Blvd.

It'll be Sunday the 26th from 9:00-11:00 am. We'll all meet at Hollywood High School @8:30.

We'll be taking the bus to Santa Monica Blvd. from Hollywood, so be prepared.

For the PTP walk you'll be either sponsored, by getting people you know to sponsor you, or you can just get donations instead of being sponsored. The way sponsoring works: The sponsor will give you 10 cents (or however much amount), but that 10 cents is multiplied by how many blocks you walk in two hours. So lets say you walk 70 blocks, then that sponsor would give you a total of $7. I have the sponsoring form for this so all you have to do is email me atdramagurl125@yahoo.com & I'll reply with the form.
